I need to start valuing my mental health first
What do you do there?
I work in Amazon logistics
I think this is where a decision matrix could help. Below is what a decision matrix looks like. Set out your options and criteria/goals, give them a priority and score for each option. See which option gets the highest total.
Yup, it’s difficult with all the snakes, tigers and shiet
Hehe
Maybe try to look for another job before quitting?
If you can find something that is better for your mental health, then that’s a good idea. If you don’t have a good amount of money saved to pay your bills for a while, you shouldn’t leave unless you have something else lined up first.
I’m on medical leave currently
I was thinking about working animal type job
Animal work can be very rewarding. I hope you can get the job before quitting your current one. Do you think that’s possible?
My area pretty competitive when it come to jobs, since I don’t have degree in that area my odds are not good.
Then I recommend keeping your current job while applying for other jobs.
The only issue is that I got forced transfer to a far away station due to a accommodation request made by my psychiatrist for the day shift.
Do you drive there? Take a bus? How long is your commute?
New location would be a 3 hour drive
As a former Amazon employee getting out of there was one of the best things I could do for my mental health. I do recommend finding another job first even if it’s just temp work
Yea Amazon literally triggered my psychosis
Wow! 3 hours is too far! Yeah, I’d definitely start looking for a new job. I think Amazon isn’t really as accommodating to disabled people as they say. They moved you that far away so you’d leave in my opinion. I’m so sorry!
Management not huge fan of me to begin with.
Mind if I ask what kind of work you did for them?
I worked logistic in a delivery station.
