I get standard for both … my cousin with an anxiety disorder got enhanced. I don’t understand. I guess anxiety could be more crippling than sz or bipolar sometimes.
I agree that anxiety can be more crippling, but it depends case to case.
I was also thinking about going to court because my advising doctor of social security won’t allow me to study psychology. But I decided to not do it, because it would be a lot of stress. I will try to find something different.
I was on standard for 3 years, and I did not argue with them.
The reason was they made it so hard to get, I did not think it worth the hassle to get them to look at it again, as I feared they might adjust me out of it completely.
PIP is the most ridiculously corrupt method of judging people I have ever seen in my life
I had a review this year, and my daily living got made to enhanced - which I was 1 point off originally anyway
It’s up to you, but for me the fight just wasn’t left in me after being rejected completely on 2 previous attempts.
A major problem with PIP and DLA before it who is/was that a person with level 2 difficulties who does a good job of filling in the forms often does better than a person with higher level 4 disabilities who does a less good job of filling in the forms. . It means that any claims that it’s about level of support need is pure BS.
I think I will leave it too, hoping it gets changed but if not hopefully my job works out.
She asked me to help her fill out the forms… So I helped her…. But she seems to faint a lot particularly at work. So i guess her needs are more severe.
