If I get denied disability

Do you think it would be worth appealing or a waste of everyones time… My partner feels I should get it… i feel it would help a lot financially… but sometimes i honestly don’t see a problem…other people notice more of my symptoms than I do. He said I was extremely anxious in that room with the assessor i could barely tell.

Yeah appeal for sure. Hopefully you get it and there’s no issues. I love my life on the pension out here. I can still live a realized life without the hassles and pressures of working. I’m thankful for that.

If you need it, then appeal. But if you think you can work even with your symptoms then do that.

I think there is a limit on how much you can earn, and it’s pretty small. As for applying again - you routinely get turned down on your first application. Then, the second time you apply get a lawyer who is specialized with these kinds of cases, and you’ll have a good chance of getting it then.

No there is not any limit with PIP I am pretty sure. My dad who was visiually impared, worked full time and still got it, granted that was dla but they getting rid of dla for pip so…

PIP is different from SSDI, and we’re giving you info on SSDI. Maybe someone who knows PIP can respond and help you navigate the process

Pip is now being phased out in place of Universal Credit. Unless your getting the severe disability premium (in your ESA if your claiming) then they will leave you on it.

Pip is more difficult to get ive found - if your working. I think its because it shows your more capable in a sense. But definatley appeal - you got nothing to lose.

I didn’t get it
I now get housing benefits and ESA that’s all
However my friend in birmingham got a very good rate of pip

Probably appeal it, nothing to loose really, I have to appeal my tax credit, they asked more questions the second time around, waiting for a answer

They denied me twice. It took almost three years for me to get approved for it. Wishing you the best of luck.
