Sexual Health, Body Information 2

I thought I would make a new thread for body and sex questions. I thought about making two, one male and one female, but I want to be inclusive to all members. So, one thread. It won’t hurt for anyone else to learn stuff about other bodies.

I have a question. I had my uterus and ovaries removed a decade ago. Why do I still experience hot flashes? I thought they were caused by fluctuating hormone levels during menopause. But I just don’t have those hormones anymore. So what gives?

How many times per week would you say is normal for a 55 year old man to masturbate? If there is any such thing as normal that is

According to this article it depends on when you first started your period, if you are overweight, smoke or smoked, and are depressed or stressed.

Hope this helps. @LilyoftheValley

There’s really no set “normal” for masturbation. As a man ages, the urge lessens due to lowered testosterone if you are on testosterone therapy, you may have more urges. @dcragg65

Thanks @anon4362788

I have a question, I stopped getting my period like 10 years ago. I’ve had one period since then. But I don’t get hot flashes, my doctor says I went through menopause. Why don’t I get hot flashes.

Not everyone gets hot flashes.

It makes me feel like I didn’t actually go through menopause, especially since I’m 53 and my periods stopped when I was 42

Hi y’all. So I’ve recently went to the gynecologist a few months and they told me that I have leftover blood in my uterus. I’m worried that it might be cancer, but my gynecologist says it’s not cancer (very unlikely). Does anyone have this problem? Also, does anyone have irregular cycles and/or bleeding when you’re not supposed to have a period?
