Seroquel for sleep

I have bad insomnia.

Been getting two hours a night or so and that’s with imovane.

My last psychiatrist recommended seroquel for sleep.

I said no because i don’t want the side effects and weight gain but i can’t go on like this with so little sleep.

I need more sleep!

Now I’m thinking of trying seroquel low dose for sleep.

Anyone experience with this?

I’ve been on quetiapine for a couple months now and the sleep is great for me. And I have been losing weight. Your mileage may vary.

Wow losing weight…
I heard seroquel causes weight gain.

Always scary trying a new medication but I feel i have to do something to get more sleep.

Did you have insomnia before you started taking it?

How does it feel?

Great beard by the way.
I love beards!

Qutiapine helps my sleep with not to much weight gain. But lately it came with the prize of worsening of cognitive abilities.

Seroquel works as a sleeping pill in low doses, but I had restless legs and weird gut feeling on it. I also have fainted on it while going to the toilet. Seroquel also gave me nightmares once every one or two weeks.

Once you take the Seroquel pill, it will make you drowsy and make you want to lie down and sleep for hours. It works pretty quickly.

When I was on Seroquel it knocked me out. I say it’s worth a try.

Mirtazapine is good for sleep with less weight gain. Makes you more hungry but doesn’t seem to affect metabolism from my exp

Seroquel comes in 25 mg tablets and that is too small to cause weight gain.
