I took it awhile ago, but I stopped taking it before I could know how good or bad it was.

Seroquel didn’t do much for me. I take 25 mg of clozapine for sleep. It really helps.

The only good thing about taking Seroquel for me was that I slept well.

However, I couldn’t leave the house and was ravenously hungry all day and all night.

During my last 2 weeks on it, I gained 19 pounds (8.62 kg) - in just 2 weeks!!! Overall, I gained 100 lbs (45.36 kg) in 1 year on quetiapine.

I hate that drug!

yes that sucks i also gained alot of weight on it.

I have 900 mg. It’s the only thing that works for me.

I’m on a dose over 1000mg and to be honest I love this med. very few side effects and strangely no sedation or weight gain.

Zyprexa and abilify on the other hand were horrible for me.

It’s just what works for you.

It helped with my psychosis but made me faint a lot as I couldn’t tolerate it.

I’m with @LilyoftheValley. The weight gain I’ve experienced on it has been insane. I’m still on it but am trying to cut down.

I’m on 50 mg for insomnia and I’m happy about that.

I’m allowed to take 25 mg during the day for anxiety, in the beginning it was very sedating, but now it works well in case of a crisis.

It worked for awhile, but then I experienced recurring psychosis. When it worked I liked it because there were little to no side effects.

I tried taking it for insomnia, and it did help some at 50mg, but had to discontinue after a month or so because of cardiac side effects.

My moods were stable on Seroquel XR but it made me hallucinate right after I took it then it would knock me out cold
