I used alcohol as form of self-medication for 20 years, I have not had any alcohol at all since june.
Perhaps the answer was we are one but nobody could see it
Wow. But on the lighterside, after y2k, I bet that pesky grocery shopping chore was cut to less than half.
what we loved and disliked in the other was us.
Nah. She was pretty bad off. It took several years before we were allowed to even touch that food and a lot of it had started to expire.
Oh coomme oonn!
you never snuck out even a single package of cookies?
well y2kâs generally revolved their stuff to what was still good but to judge them eh you werenât there. it is probably the gap designed to seperate.
I believed the end of the world was going to happen on new years day 2000. I was very delusional at the time, I also believed that I was a prophet of God.
I have a first cousin on my dadâs side who is schizophrenic. And mental illness abounds on my momâs side of the family. I had a drug-induced psychosis. I really should have known better.
I donât think there were any cookies? I really donât know. I was old enough by then that I was barely ever home. I had moved out before she ever started going through it. When I visited for the first time years later after college there were still several tubs full of dry and canned foods that hadnât been touched. I wouldnât be surprised if they were still down there. Probably relevant to note sheâs also got a legit bad hoarding problem.
Oh.I thought this was when you were a teen or younger.
wow their were always cookies. to blame the other, blame yourself
In Nazi Germany, all the diagnosed schizophrenics were sadly killed, around 230k-270k of them, and the rate of schizophrenia in Germany didnât go down post-WWII, it actually went up. Doesnât make a strong case for blaming genes.
right @naturallycured i wonder if they saw who see.
I was 14 in 2000, but rarely home more than just to sleep at night. And by 16 I had moved out altogether.
@naturallycured this is so interesting to learn!
Not all, only the low functioning ones (100k), the others were sterilized.
Statistical studies prove that genetics is the strongest known risk factor.
no family history of mental illnessâŚthere was talk of a great aunt that they kept in the attic, but nothing was said about her having schizophrenia.
