is it possible to prevent relapse? if the answer is yes then how to do so? any advice will be appreciated.
therapy meds and little bit willpower
Better insight of your own psychosis.
List of triggers. Healthy coping strategies.
If you can’t stay stable without meds being on maintenance dose.
Yes percent this one
The only thing that will (should) prevent a relapse is meds. That’s why they’re called anti-psychotics .
How did i even skip this, this is a main one, as this brings me to the point of realising that i have sz. After that will power to have insight.
there is some cases which relapse happens even when they were put on therapeutic dose of antipsychotics. do you know why this happens? i am sacred that i may relapse even if i am on antipsychotic.
Yes, I relapsed on seroquel. I’ve been on Abilify for 10 years and haven’t relapsed. Seroquel just didn’t suit me and I wish I’d realised that sooner.
Another thing you can do is avoid stress as much as possible.
Stress makes me psychotic.
A crap tonne of will power.
Yes, same here. Avoid stress at all cost!
