To prevent relapses
I try to avoid stress as much as I can,
and when I can’t I increase my meds for the period of stress.
And try to relax
and get support from loved ones and my therapist or pdoc.
And come on here!
Even on high doses of 3 antipsychotics, I still have small episodes that last a day or two, or even hours. They are small but frequent.
When I first noticed my remission, I asked my pdoc what would make “it” come back (relapse)? He told me: stress, alcohol and illegal drugs, med noncompliance, and lack of sleep were the five biggies.
I’m so sorry for you, @Om_Sadasiva. I will pry for you.
Thanks Gina. How are you?
I am doing very, very well. Thanks for asking. And I wish the same for you.
