Iā€™m a seller on eBay and while the buyers seem to get away with anything and sellers get the shaft eBay usually will have your back and can refund the payment from the source it was purchased on. Was the address validated? If so thatā€™s eBays fault!

I have a Google voice number with an Indiana area code but live in Oregon. So anytime I get a call from Indiana 99% of the time itā€™s spam.

I use Google voiceā€™s screen call option if I donā€™t know who it is.

Verizon now has a block call feature that tells you if itā€™s a robocall or potential spam. I just block the numbers as they come in.

The address wasnā€™t validated no. The scammer sent it to me on eBay email telling me it was a birthday present for a son and they wanted it sent to a different address.

I always answer my phone- I love to waste scammers time by pretending I donā€™t speak much English, or that Iā€™m a scammer too.
They usually end up hanging up on me.
Then I donā€™t get many calls after that.

They always hang up on me by the time I get to 98 bottles of beer on the wall. However once I made it to 96! LolšŸ˜œ
Geico called the other day and in a scary a little louder then a whisper I said Iā€™ll only talk to the lizard, heā€™ll know what this is about. I had a hard time not laughing. My parents had no idea who I was talking to they only heard what I said! I can only imagine what they were thinking!

We get a couple of regular overseas skams from call centers mainly in India. One of them is on the solar rebate scheme that was running over here. They always askā€¦Do you have solar power??

Itā€™s a skam. Iā€™m so over it all I usually just have funā€¦NO. I donā€™t have solar power but we have nuclear power. Unless your selling refined plutonium you canā€™t help me. They usually get the picture but one day I must have pissed off one of them and this lovely lady told me to go F myself. Hahah. That was a great day to hear such a reaction!

They tried to scam my grandmother, a strong woman who survived the Korean War during her teenage years.

Of course they failed. My grandmother threatened to call the police and they hung up.

The thing is the persons ebay was hacked and they had 900 100% positive feedback!

My friend has a 718 number so he gets lots of 718 spam calls. When he gets 203 he knows itā€™s legit.
