Does anyone else hate when random numbers call you?? I absolutely can’t stand it, it weirds me out. Especially when they don’t leave a voicemail…

It could be a scam to get you to call them back. Some numbers cost you a lot of money to call and the scammer gets paid.

I have major anxiety surrounding talking on the phone. One of my major breaks involved my phone.

I hate being called, I feel much more comfortable texting and writing.

I have a service on my samsung where calls are checked againest scam numbers - and withelds are blocked. That and only 5 people have my number.

I cocked up last year - and put my number online on a payday loan site - que months of 15 calls a day from Calcutta offering me refunds from “microsoft support” lol.

Vodafone changed my number free of charge after that .

I don’t answer my phone unless i know who it is and i want to talk to them. Lately I’ve been getting a lot of calls from “potential spam”.

I never answer my landline. I leave it to answerphone. If they don’t leave a message then it was not important enough and probably a scammer or a wrong number.

I know not to answer my phone when it’s a stupid accident scam number or some other dodgy number because the start of the number will not be the typical UK start of a number-phew!

I get scam calls from numbers in my own area. If I don’t recognize the number, I don’t answer it

I don’t get upset. I methodically erase them.
