Say it isn’t so!

I woke up to a runny nose this morning, it’s been runny all morning long so far.
Plenty of sneezes too.
I’m also getting a mild headache.
I suspect that I’m getting allergic to my cats fur (dander)

I hope that I’m not allergic to my baby, that would kill me!

Does this mean that I’ll have to find her another home?

I hope not!

My symptoms are much better in my fathers room where she hardly goes to.

I’ve used up over 30 sheets of tissues so far.

This is heartbreaking

When did you get the cat?

April 2022 @Loke

If you’re allergic to cats you probably would’ve had allergic reactions in April honestly.

My daughter was allergic. Her eyes would swell and she would get a skin rash.

Yeah I’m wondering why now?
Hopefully it’s something else that I’m allergic to.

I’ll see how it goes

Thanks @Loke

Oh no.
I just read that one can develop an allergy to a pet anytime.
Even later on when previously there was no allergy

@Wave,

I’m allergic to cats.

I just take a Zyrtec when I’m going to be around them.

You don’t have to get rid of your cat.

Yeah I’ve never taken an allergy pill in my life.
I don’t like taking otc meds out of anxiety but I may have to do this.
I’m not about to get rid of my cat.

Thanks @Charles_Foster

Or it could be a common cold…

I don’t think it is because I usually sneeze a lot when I’m allergic to something but it might be.
Hopefully it’s a cold

Maybe she just needs a bath. There’s also allergen reducing cat food.

Wow thanks @ZombieMombie!
I’ll look into getting her this cat food!

My cat prefers Purina foods hopefully she’ll like this Purina food also!

No problem. Hope it helps. You can also fi d things to help remove dander from carpets.

@Wave what I learned about my trip down this road was the very first step is DON’T PANIC. The second step is just go to your doctor and have her do a simple blood test for some household/environmental and some common food allergies. Trust me, this will save you a lot of worry and heartache.

And if you are allergic get these

Thanks @Leaf!
I brushed her earlier and I also have a pack of the Burt’s Bees wipes!

Going to try the wipes out but I’m also going to order a small bag of the Purina Pro Plan Live Clear cat food that @ZombieMombie suggested.

Thanks guys!

I used the Burt’s Bees wipe on her.
Is it safe for her to clean herself (lick) her fur after using this wipe on her @Leaf?
