Why is being there making you wheeze?

You may have to go to the DR and let them do an allergy skin test to see what your allergic to and get the right meds for it. I had to have it done I’m allergic to grass.

Yea that will definitely help also maybe check her air filter in the house. Maybe it hasn’t been changed in a few years and there’s a lot of dust or some thing. Or maybe you’re allergic to a product like perfume or something she has.

I remember never having allergies then when I turned 25 I got bad hives, watery eyes, and a runny nose. I developed a grass pollen allergy. Generic allergy pills are like 10 bucks for 365 pills for generic Zyrtec on Amazon. Hope you feel better.

I’m allergic to everything outside, and I used to react badly to cats, too (think eyes and throat swollen shut, itching, hives, headache- the works). Now I take Flonase nasal spray, Zyrtec allergy pills, Pataday eye drops, and, as needed, Benadryl. Without it all, I’m as good as incapacitated. Maybe more than one allergy med is necessary for you, too. I like @Turtle44’s idea of seeing an allergist. I did that wretched allergy skin test Turtle mentioned, and the doctor was going to make what is basically a cocktail of injectable medication to help with the allergies. Too bad we moved before I could take advantage of it. It might be worth it for you, though, especially if it interferes with your relationship. Best of luck to you.

Thanks @Happy_H .

I had to get up and the middle of the night and go to parents house to sleep. It was pretty bad. I’ve also developed a whistling wheezy thingy when I cough like my throat is partially closed. Freaking sucks. Glad to hear iM not alone but sorry to hear you have suffered through this as well.
