Recommend me an AP

The truth is we can’t really recommend one, we can only share our experiences. I’ve tried meds that were awful for me but others rave about how great they are and vice versa. Since everyone is different everyone has different experiences with different medications.

You just have to try different meds until you find one that works for you with minimal/tolerable side effects, or if you’re lucky even no side effects at all.

Ziprasidone and Abilify are probably the least heavy on side effects.

Seth, olanzapine is not so much drowsy in your opinion?
I am on it, but i was as smashed in my sz way before the meds, so i dont know if the zyprexa slows me down even more or not

Wouldn’t recommend abilify. Made me have tons of akathisia.

I take amuispride.i don’t like the prolactin effect in it.its better than the other ones though.

i have no drowsiness on invega unlike almost every other med ive been on, i just go to sleep super late tho so i have to either sleep in late or take a nap during the day if i wake up earlier, once im awake and got my day started i have ok energy

Sorry late reply, a couple of days. but paracetomal will get rid of it. Its just a slightly dead arm.

Flupenthixol also known as dexipol is what i was on only one that worked for me is a typical antipsychotic x

I’d recommend haldol. It did very little for me. With that said I had no side effects.

I recommend Geodon. It handles your symptoms without making you brain dead. A lot of people swear by it.

I don’t think vraylar has been mentioned yet also

This thread should be re-titled the “Name all the antipsychotics that you can think of thread”.
