Least sedating AP?

I’m currently on 1mg of Risperdal, which despite it being a low dose slows me down a lot. Are there any other APs that don’t slow you down so much, and don’t make you gain excessive weight?

Rexulti is a little stimulating actually but it might not be strong enough for you. I take 2 anti-psychotics. One for day, Rexulti, and one for night, Saphris.

Abilify keeps me awake. I’ve problems sleeping at night. I used to take Risperidone and slept all the time.

Well I’m on 2.5mg abilify and losing weight. My motivation is bad but I think it will improve somewat as I’ve still to get used to this low dose.

My 7.5mg Zyprexa doesn’t sedate me too much. Seroquel made me feel like a zombie back when I was on it though.

I have taken up this challenge over the last 5 years.

My findings were Amisulpride, Latuda and to some degree Haloperidol were the least sedating.

Side effects wise though, Haloperidol is so strong it does knock out a few lights, but it’s a weird kind of sedation that’s not making you a zombie, but it does have a big effect on your waking self.

Latuda and Amisulpride I have been impressed with. I only quit Latuda due to Akasthisa and I might be cutting out Amisulpride due to raised prolactin

My next target is Vrayler now it’s in the UK
