Real IDs in the U.S

Have you heard of these? You only have until May 6th to get one. You cannot fly domestically without one. They’re government issued IDs; they’re called “Real ID’s”. I think (I’m not sure) that can still fly without a Real ID if you have a passport or certain other certain documents or proof.

Yeah, I’ve had one for a couple of years. It was a pain to get it…i couldn’t have my social security card laminated! I also had to have my birth certificate and passport to get it. The only thing different on it from a regular driver’s license in Alaska is that there’s a little star in the corner.

Yes, I recently got copies of my birth certificate and soc security card so that I can get one soon. Im not sure about other states , but in Iowa, you get a star on your license.

I hear that you wont be able to enter federal buildings without it for one.

As Im always looking to take advantage of the rules, I figure I can use this as an excuse if I ever commit a federal crime. I figure I can say “Now hold on a minute, I’d love to oblige but I dont have a star on my license to enter that courthouse” :stuck_out_tongue:

I’m always thinking ahead…

Here we have iris recognition scans and fingerprint scan for any official purpose involvement.

They should have included dna scan it would have been amazing but I think that is expensive

The Government will be microchipping newborns under the guise of “Safety”…it will be encouraged…then it will become Law…and the Government will track your every move from cradle to grave.

I’ve mentioned this Big Brother scenario before. I believe it will occur in my lifetime.

@Patrick you aren’t well…that isn’t going to happen.

Covid vaccines were a Government ‘suggestion’ when they first came out…then they became mandatory for most employment.

I don’t think I’m very far off with my prediction.
