Yeah,
I just spit out the lozenge.
It was gross.
We’ll see how I do cold turkey.
I friend recommended that yesterday and I didn’t listen.

Good luck, Rexy!!! You can do it!! You have a big fan base here, rooting for you.
I pretty much have at this point completed a cessation study on the mentally ill and smoking… at Robert Wood Johnson Hospital…
we used skin patches… I noticed you haven’t mentioned them…
Thought I’d mention them… I’m someone with an uncle who quit smokes a long time ago; who then got addicted to the gum, and now (I think it’s the reason), has teeth issues big time because of it!! Just food for thought perhaps and my two cents on this.
Good luck @GoldenRex
Prepare for disappointment:
I tore the house apart like some sort of junkie and found vape juice.
I should have thrown my device away yesterday.
Right now I’m vaping again.
Son of a ■■■■■.
I’m so upset with myself.
The lozenges were just so gross and I felt such a huge void in my day.
Plus, you all know how much weed I smoke,
That just increases the cravings.
■■■■.
I’m mad about it.
Sorry for letting everyone down.
I plan to cut back as much as I can and start again when this juice runs out.
Oy vey.
You didn’t let us down. It’s tough to quit any addiction.
There is always tomorrow (or the next day). Just don’t give up; keep trying.
I started smoking when I was 13. My first attempt at quitting was when I was 19. I didn’t successful quit until I was 30. Many attempts in between. Nicotine addiction is a damn hard addiction to overcome. I’ve been smoke free for 13 years now.
But it is possible. I don’t even think about smoking anymore, don’t miss it either. I feel better and I can do things like mow the lawn without running out of breath. Even my old triggers like a smoke with my morning coffee, or after dinner are gone. I am completely over it now.
i went cold turkey july 15th…got scared from a low oxygen report at the doctors…anyways…i did it…!! you can do it but it won’t be easy…
Good luck @GoldenRex
@Headspark . i’ts very true, nicotine is nicotine. I stopped smoking but now im addicted to white stain less dipping tobacco, like lozenges its very less toxic than smoking, but like lozenges it makes you addicted.
hows it going?
Been there with the alcohol addiction.
You can always try it again though I don’t know if throwing out the vape machine is going to help. You may experience intense cravings and end up buying another one so ad infinitum.
What does hubby think of you quitting? Is he supportive of you trying?
Maybe replace the weed with vaping
Jk I know you wont. I think smoking things is worse than vaping. No carbon monoxide, etc
