I used chantix to quit dipping. It made it easy to stop but it doesn’t ease the withdrawal. It can also cause worsening depression. I had to stop taking it right after I quit.

Withdrawal from nicotine can cause hallucinations (From personal experiences,)

I’ve been smoke free for 4 years, but not nicotine free.

I find that nicotine helps me tremendously. I use NRTs. I’ve come to realize that Its greatly beneficial to me.

Right now I’m on the patch.

But back on topic, if you really want to quit smoking, either reduce your intake or go to the NRT method.

Good luck!

I’ll give cold Turkey a shot and if withdrawals get too bad I’ll go the nrt route thanks guys

Vaping stopped my smoking habit.

Just break your lighter lol. If you get a new one break that one too

If you dont mind nicotine, vape a sub ohm set up with 6 mg/ml juice, then 3, then 0, then stop. Im currently on 6, will cut it to 3 soon as i dont crave as much. Been 2 months of vaping. Smoked for 5 years.

I quit by smoking less, rolling my own with pipe tobacco, and then cold turkey. I was nic free for 4 years, but picked up vaping to help my nerves.

Champix or whatever it’s called where you live. I was a thirty year pack a day man till my shrink got me to try it. I failed to give up millions of times and things like patches just didn’t cut it. I didn’t even finish the course of the pills and in September this year I will be 10 years without a smoke!

I succeeded on the third serious attempt. The stars have to be in alignment and you must really want to do it. Patches helped me with the physical withdrawal. When I was ready it was tough but also easy. You can do it. My mental health improved once I didn’t have smoking bringing me down.

Thanks for all the tips guys I’ll keep you informed

I smoked weaker and weaker cigs for a few years and when I got down there I quit cold turkey. I gets easier after 2 weeks. But I would sing songs, fight songs, hard drivin songs, inspirational songs when it was hard. Maybe the extra breathing helped then. I’d sleep and I’d embrace the pain.

Wow, did you start at 6? I think 24 is the equivalent of cigarettes. That’s what I use.

A few years ago I started at 18. This time around i figured i vape on it all day either way so i might as well just do 6.
