Did you loose weight when you stopped Seroquel ?
I begun Seroquel two months ago as add on to Clozapine …
Gained fifteen pounds,belly most…
As I cant go walks,I’m planing to get off of it…
Will the weight go?

Yeah my gf takes some seroquel at night to sleep. She gets hectic munchies from it and can’t feel full even if she’s eaten a lot. Ive had that before with some meds. Torturous. Eating and never feeling satisfied.

That’s what happened to me. I felt ravenously hungry 24/7 no matter what I ate. It was awful!

I lost a lot but not all of the weight I gained from seroquel by stopping seroquel and switching to zyprexa. It’s possible. Seroquel is a really hard one for weight. I feel you. @anon83704208

I gained 10 pounds a month on seroquel. I had to stop it after five months because of it plus the fact that it did not stop the voices.
Once i was off it i lost like 7 pounds but kept the rest of the weight. Ugh…

Zoa Im on 800 mg of Qutiapine and I was only gaining weight while on it the first half year.
Normally Its said that Clozapine is the most weight gaining antipsychotics of them all.

Seroquel is one of the worst offenders for increasing your appetite and causing weight gain. You need to be very careful not to eat after a certain hour at night if you’re on a large dose of this. I used to be on 600mg and am glad I’m on Zyprexa instead now.

Problem is that I’m already on Clozapine,and pdoc gave me 100 mgs Seroquel on top of that…
