Anybody been on promethazine as a PRN, will all the pills they have me yesterday and with the added promethazine it knocked me out for 14 hours and still feel sleepy now! Have you tried it?

They used to give it to me for nausea.
Then for sinus issues.
I had to stop taking it because it made me so sleepy.

The pill didn’t make me sleepy but the injection does.
I was on 25-50mg PRN Promethazine per day for sleep
It worked pretty well
Since being Clozapine, I don’t need a sleep aid

They gave that to me to help me sleep even though it’s an antihistamine too.
In my case clozapine is the sleeping aid!

I have to take 100mg promethazine, I don’t feel anything if it’s lower
How are you hanging on?
Is there any therapy or people you like?
Did they already mention when you get to go home?

I slept the weekend away. No mention when I go home. Been here two weeks on Wednesday. It’s hectic in the ward.
