Private psychotherapy

I am searching for a private psychotherapist in my town.

It will cost me some money but it is worth the investment. It should be helpful.

what do you see now??? I see a private therapist. None of them in my area took medicare so i have to pay out of pocket. Its like $100 a session but my dad pays for it lol.

I can’t afford anything on my own. Hopefully when I get a PT job i will get more rich

and yes i have seen great strides since starting my therapist

I have in the healthcare

a psychiatrist and an occupational therapist.

I tried EMDR once it was not helpful.

I am happy for that

Perhaps you should do this before jumping ship and getting your own place?

If anything you’d have someone who you could weigh up the pros and cons with and see if there are and deep seated issues, that are making you unable to be happy in your life?

I’m really not sure how helpful the EMDR aspect is, but i sure find it fun!!! And the rest of the therapy is helpful to me. She is very insightful. She is a little cooky but its ok, aren’t we all

Yes @JH85 This is a main reason I need to do it.
I need to figure out my problems before jumping into a lot more problems and expense.

maybe i meant kooky lol but it’d be cool if she was a cookie…chocolate chip hopefully?

well dont do what i did! i did so bad the guy dropped me. lol i had no idea i was such a pain. (too late for me at that place now).

i googled “therapist wont see me again”. up it popped, a utube video “ten ways to p##! -o!! your therapist”. It was an epiphany moment. I stopped watching after my 7 th yup of affirmation.

It appears there is something out there called resisantace. It seems to make therapist and counsellors nuts to the point that the low pay ones might drop someone they see as resistant. just letting you know.

good luck
