I can hardly make it each month on what we get from food stamps and what we have left after bills for groceries…we used to get by on eggs…but now that they are so expensive we are having difficulty gettting by…how about you?
There were no 25% tariffs this morning, so that helps, but everything is rocketing upward as our dollar is getting the snot beat out of it.
Have you tried commodities? I don’t know if they’re for specific ages.
I hear you @jukebox we are luckier than you because we live in a capital city so we have access to discount food stores and multiple pantries. Chicken was $.49 per lb the other day so I got 12 packages and froze what we didn’t currently need. There are seven of us and three of those teenagers, so we need protein. Egg prices are crushing us. My son likes making those egg burritos you like so much for his snack. It’s rough out there for everyone, Canadians too.
Yeah were feeling it too. Just bought mushrooms, mince beef 750g, fish, potatoes and bread, ice cream on offer £2.25
It all came to £19.75 expensive for a couple of meals
The price of 4L of milk is almost $8.
It just keeps climbing and climbing.
Been feeling it a while now. It’s awful. We spend a fortune on groceries.
We really need to get rid of dairy supply management here. All it does is keep rich farmers rich and everyone else poorer.
Hmmmm i think i should try and draw a canadian loonie with a nose on it with snot flyin out after gettin punched by a boxer
Shut up and take my (depreciated) money.
