Well, I’ve been a bona fide troll, albeit a benign one. I spent months pretending to be a flat earther and even became a well respected member of some flat earth groups. I would come up with increasingly bizarre theories and claims and have great fun trolling round earthers. Eventually I came clean though and apologised to everyone.
Actually it was sometimes easier to incense people over small details. I remember producing some bogus calculations about the distance from the sun, but chose to express it in nautical miles. For some reason round earthers were really mystified by this but I offered no explanation.
