I hope nothing will happen. Someone told me I resembled someone something bad happened to. I am afraid they mistook her for me. I hope she is alright.
I know this sounds crazy.
I doubt that something happened because they look like you. That sounds like a delusion. Sad something bad happened to someone, though.

I wouldn’t dwell on it. If you can’t forget it, just take routine precautions.

Check carefully at intersections. If you’re driving, drive the speed limit. Don’t try to beat any traffic lights. Don’t go out walking alone, especially at night. Make sure your house is secure at night. Stuff like that.

That must have been very scary for you. But this was a coincidence. Plenty of people look like other people. Plenty of people have had bad things happen to them. It makes sense there would be someone who looks like you, who had had something bad happen to them. It is not your fault. You are responsible for your own actions and nobody else’s.
