Physical attacks on body now happening. Anyone else?

Schizophrenia physical symptoms happening to me. The voices just started up out of nowhere one day four years ago and have seemed to physically attack me and try to make symptoms appear and happen. Anyone else experiencing this??

My intrusive thoughts sometimes change features of my body, such as hair color. I distract myself or meditate.

I didn’t say anything about self harm. And the journal of medicine clearly states a symptom of schizophrenia is sometimes physical movement unwanted…and also speaking and stopping speaking by the person’s statement of not wanting that to happen. And lots of physical symptoms that they do not control…so beings that doctors and science say this happens why is my post unusual?

Also physical symptoms of heart issues and other physical symptoms. And these are the things I’m talking about. Being that the hallucinations of voices that I hear tell me ahead of time that something will happen. I want to find others that experience this.

As to the rest of your response: Thinking that voices are physically attacking you is an unusual belief. Voices do not have the power to attack you physically. They just exist in your brain/mind. They have no power over you physically.

Well then you are definitely not suffering the level of the illness as I am and I’m just trying to find others that have successfully delt with this mind f**k and overcame it. So I know how to approach this.

I understand. You may be having a combination of physical and auditory hallucinations that make it seem like they are attacking you physically. But I am telling you, voices cannot physically attack you.

We aren’t doctors which is first point of call. Sz does strange things for sure but unsure what you are describing. Maybe someone has a similar thing but simple questions- what meds you on?

I wonder if you have had any imaging done, or if you see a neurologist. Hallucinations come about as a result of nerves misfiring. The physical pain might be a result of other nerves misfiring. Believing that they are supernatural beings is a psych issue, but the sensations themselves tend to be neurological in origin.

Thanks for your feedback I have thought this myself but have at realized I won’t ever figure that out so I try to tell myself not to focus on it at least but thanks for your input means a lot.

Yeah i now get physical symptoms from schizophrenia. About 10 years ago it started with odd sensations which were prob hallucinations but i thought someone was doing it to me. But now when i go off haldol i get different stuff. My arms and legs feel airy and empty of bones. I feel like i weigh 800 pounds and it’s hard to walk. My heart skips beats a ton. And i feel like i can’t breathe after i eat. The doctors told me these are all different causes. Catatonia, panic, and refeeding syndrome from not eating. I feel tho that there is some kind of damage that has gone on.

These things are caused by medication side-effects, not voices. You voices are not real and cannot control you.

I had tactile hallucinations before I was medicated. I thought there were people talking to me by telepathy (audio hallucinations) and those same people were touching me through witchcraft (tactile hallucinations). APs stopped the tactile and audio hallucinations.

exactly the same thing u described i go trough same everyday for 1 to 10 minutes im in pain voices demonic presence laughing going crazy and all than it goes away
