@Richard888 is your profile pic a famous greek philosopher ?
I don’t actually remember now but I think so.
I took philosophy in university. Interesting class and young handsome professor.
Only phenomenology
philosophy- the love of wisdom
Let me ponder the question for awhile.
Currently I’m reading Nietzsche - Menschliches, Allzumenschliches.
That’s the first time I try to read philosophy.
I want to say yes, but my partner was a philosophy major in university and now the thought of philosophical discussions makes me want to stick knives in my ears.
Philosophy? I don’t know, I have to think about it.
I consider myself to have a casual interest in philosophy. I’ve read a Neitzche book and a couple introductory philosophy books.
It’s a very fascinating subject. I look at it as the art of thinking critically.
I am on the fence whether to ignore philosophy entirely and become a naturopath, or read like two dozen books on it and become knowledgable about the human condition, as a foundation for becoming a thought leader of some kind.
It’s Socrates, dude
I had good grades
Elementary logic and critical thinking, in college, was, by far, the hardest for me to learn.
Running, screaming… no logic… no critical thinking
