I had Genesight done in March.
It is good to tell you which meds you metabolize properly and which you don’t. It cannot predict side effects though heads up. I had two meds fail this year due to side effects. Still very worthwhile to do.
Clozapine was on my red do not use list, as was the olanzapine I was on at the time.

Clozapine has helped me a lot. I don’t like the salivating or wanting to eat a lot but I’m glad it reduced my urge to self-harm and suicidal ideation.

When you first start I believe it is labs once a week, then every other week, then once a month. Someone correct me if my timeline is wrong.

If it wasn’t for the Clopixol LAI combined with Seroquel then I would be back on clozapine. Thouse abou mentioned treatments are the only ones that works for me.
