I am not so bad with negative symptoms my problem is sessions of paranoia where I hear voices and feel being watched this is horrid feeling which can last up to 3 pr 4 hours I am always scared when will get them sometimes they go away and I think I’m winning then they come back most people get rid of their paranoia so I don’t understand why it so persistant
I still have crazy bouts of paranoia, therapy helps.
I have almost every day some paranoia caused by various matters, but I try to reason myself out of these paranoid thoughts.
I find there is usually one trigger with parniona. Just one thing that’s setting me off… Taking myself or removing that trigger is usually all it takes for it to subside. In case of the negative symptoms triggering me in most cases it just a matter of me getting out of the house for a bit. Getting some fresh air, Clearing my head, talking with a few people even if it’s just a very quick joke or very quick chin wag with a few local shop keeper. Definitely contact your doctor on this if you haven’t. The ER is open 24/7 if you need it over the New years break. Try and think ahead. In other words don’t leave it to late if you do need the help. Isolation is a big trigger for psychosis so try to keep connected. Phone counselling lines are cheap also an alternative to socializing and temporary counselling. It helps to physically talk to people.
Are you aware of what your triggers are? Paranoia doesn’t just happen, it’s generally set off by stuff.
I kind of get ill around my menstrual cycle
Triggers might be not being able to go on my daily walks
technology makes me paranoid
I hope I’m not out of line here. Seems that some of the birth control pills seem to be the consensus in helping women with symptoms around the time of their cycle. I first noticed it with a few of my ex’s who were patients BP and BPD (borderline personality disorder). When they started to take the pill. I’ve come across it for countless other diagnosis as well. Worth a try at anyrate.
Yes I think I went to gp once but she didn’t prescribe me it
