Maybe the weirdest combo I have ever tried, but oh my goodness they were amazing! And I even got the glaze correct! Glazes have been the hardest thing for me to learn, because you have to stop messing with them and let them sit for like 20 minutes before you know if they turned out correctly, and you have to apply the glaze when it’s just thick enough to not run off, but not so thick that it is basically a solid. They used to cause me a ton of anxiety!

@Schztuna the glaze is orange, with paprika for coloring. Smoked paprika, because Mr. Star is VERY particular about that. I must say, I do see his point. Paprika isn’t a spice I was very familiar with prior to meeting him, and my family mostly referred to it as American Pretend Spice (our term for it is much more offensive but I am a mod so I can’t say the real name) because it doesn’t taste like anything and you can add a ton of it without risking your food actually having a flavor. But when it has been smoked, it DEFINITELY adds a real, noticeable taste.
