Mr. Star’s friends are going to be thrilled! Those guys are obsessed with limes.
The icing was a real pain to work with. It took ages to thicken it up enough to use, and it was still softer than I would prefer. Any more sugar, though, and it would have been sickly sweet.
It looks great!

This slice of cake @Ninjastar posted in another thread would be cake heaven for me!
My friend made that cake before (The picture is stock footage, but the cake was real). The bottom is lime, the middle is lemon, and the top is actually passionfruit! Whipped cream icing, and she used real fruit slices for garnish.
I say make the top level orange or tangerine
