I’m tinkering with the new photo editing settings on my phone, too. I followed this recipe for the cupcakes, but used my own homemade pumpkin spice mix and added about four times as much.
For the icing, I went with my classic whipped cream with nutmeg and cinnamon.
Go ahead and shower me with compliments. You know I live for them.
Yum what’s that pumpkin made of plastic or paper, and is that a toothpick attached, I have something stuck in my tooth. Ty I love food porn . My real question is what kind of cinnamon did you use? I love a good discussion. Ty.
I just used standard McCormick cinnamon. I do the fancier gourmet spices for allspice, nutmeg, and cloves, but we go through cinnamon at an alarming rate in this house. I buy giant bulk containers.
Haha! Shower you in compliments…Well they do look amazing. I wish i could have one. I have a cake recipe for pumpkin spice cake and sweet potato pecan cupcakes with a cream cheese frosting. The pumpkin spice cake also had a cream cheese spice frosting and pumpkin seed praline. Do you like making cakes? It is my secret passion.
Ty for sharing. I’ve found the typical cinnamon such as McCormick’s to be better than ceylon though ceylon is much better for you. A real conundrum to tbh. Then I got King Arthur’s Vietnamese Cinnamon for my baked goods and haven’t looked back. It s so totally worthit. You’re pastries will ty. I still use Ceylon in my oatmeal, though. They look yummy and happy baking! Btw, I wouldn’t eat your decorative pumplkin…i believe I see a toothpick, and I’m scared of sharp wooden objects ♂️
