Starts on Monday. It’s Children’s Literature, I just ordered the books I need off of Amazon.com. The reading part will be fun but I took this class before and the assignments are not easy.
I started college in 1983, I have 5 more classes to go including this one to get my degree. I’ve come too far to quit now.
You’re a senior in college? Nice. What is your major? How did I never learn that you have been working on a degree for so long?
Other than this, what are the classes you have yet to take?
An AA degree. My major is in Humanities. I just declared my major recently. All the years I went to college I never had a major, I just took general education. Finally when i talked to a counselor last year she said since I am so close to getting a degree that I should pick a major. When she looked at my school record it turns out I had been taking the basic required courses all along that are the base for a degree,. With the classes I took I found out that I was most qualified either for a Associate of Science degree or a degree in Humanities. I picked Humanities though I know the are few job related fields it will realy help me to get in… i don’t care. My dad told me long ago. If you have ANY kind of degree and you are applying for a job it really looks good to a prospective employer. Having ANY degree shows you have commitment, discipline, tenacity, dedication etc.
With the way I have been feeling lately I asked my counselor if I could get a degree in Inhumanities.
I need physical science, algebra, Communication, and I need to re-take a Humanities course.
Oh. Those are nice classes (haha, except algebra). I took biology online and it was so much fun, what with the intensive study and the lab experiments.
I wish you well…you’re almost there.
nice one.
That is one of those things I would think up later and say… “Oh I wish I would have said that.”
Nice. Do be aware that communication (at least at my school) is a speech and presentation class, which might make you uncomfortable. I am cocky and dont rehearse or anything and did pretty well, but that’s not typical for most people who have schizophrenia. I was a cocky military brat before schizophrenia. I am still cocky
I had never specialize in anything,I had been working as a electrical appliances salesperson for 7 years,to be honest I do not consider myself as someone who knows a lot about electrical appliances,i don’t know what I really can do but I am glad that I had a job and I believe I will be able to have some successes in my
Career
One thing:I spend a lot of my time on this forum and I like reading about mental illness and things about psychology also
