well I feel better now is the thing…I thought I would always be with her, but that’s what I thought about my marriage too…didn’t ever think I’d end up being single again…lots to think about.

@Wave we’ve done that before and we always end up apart again…I won’t let her come back now…this is over as far as I’m concerned…she isn’t being that nice anymore either…so maybe she plans on leaving a lot sooner than I thought.

I’m sorry you are hurting. Just know that SHE is in the wrong here, not you. If you are on friendly terms with your ex and she has cancer…what does it hurt to talk to her?
You’ll get through this. stay strong and don’t let her guilt you intp not supporting your ex. You’re being a good friend.

@Daze no she’s not gone yet but I think she will be soon. it’s a long story…basically she feels like I broke our trust by talking to my ex wife since she is dying from cancer and she is leaving because of that.

Not to be contrary, but I’m still not sure why your ex getting cancer means the two of you need to rekindle a relationship.

@anon1517417 no it’s nothing like that…I am just calling once in a while to see what stage the cancer is at, and then later to see what happened after the surgery…now that me and my gf are broken up I just call more now…I am kind of relieved I’m single again to be honest.
So did Angie break up with u cause u asked your ex wife how her cancer was going ?
my gf is breaking up because she made me promise a long time ago that I would never talk to my ex again…I couldn’t keep the promise and it always bothered me that I hid that from my gf and when I told her I’ve been talking to her she felt betrayed so she is leaving me…yes…

I’ve talked to certain exes whilst in relationships before that I probably shouldn’t have been talking to if I was honest with myself about it.

we have always been friends since the divorce…we realized we had been delusional almost the whole time we were married and made horrible financial decisions back then leading her family to hate me thinking I ruined her financially which is only partly true but we were delusional and they wouldn’t stomach that as a reason so they drove me away but Nancy always cared for me and I her…anyways…we are strictly friends… @anon1517417
