Duolingo is a fab + fun way to learn I have mastered French tried German but a bit like you could not get my head around Der,Das+ Die.Iam now trying Italian vey similiar language to French to learn.Good luck with it!

My hubby is learning Spanish and French on duolingo.
Yeah. I think it’s a great site. Does he seem to like French? I never cared to learn French but I might try it. Soon duolingo will have an Arabic course. I can’t wait for that.

He can’t speak French [he sounds like a freak when he tries to] but he does understand alot of it now and he speaks alot of spanish now. His work has a large Hispanic community so it’s come in handy.

My dream was to learn lots of languages and work for immigration. There is a small immigration office in my state capital. I didn’t care if I made a lot of money at it.

My German is horrible. I can read it like a first grader but speaking it would be at a toddler level. Haha.

I’ve been studying Spanish almost continually since the fifth grade. And I still haven’t got it mastered and I’m 59 tomorrow. I’m just not linguistically inclined. Part of it is my poor memory. And part of it is my very poor hearing.
No tengo mucho motivaccion. Lo he dicho a mi doctor y el no era muy ocupado por esto. Entonces, porque seria yo.
I have no idea if that makes any sense but I took a stab at it.
