No longer vegetarian

I’m no longer vegetarian. I feel like being on a diet is too much stress. Now I eat everything. I think maybe that I feel a bit stronger after starting to eat meat, and less anxiety.

I hope the world moves towards veganism. But it’s not the right choice for me right now, following a diet makes me more neurotic.

Hypocrite. You restarted eating meat and expect world to go vegan.

You have to do what feels right to you. Personally, the moment meat can be grown in a lab, there’ll be no need to kill an animal, so i’d only eat the lab grown meat.

I could never go vegan, and it’s doubtful I could become a vegetarian- until lab grown meat become viable.

I have tried having more vegetarian food but most of it from supermarkets, in terms of being enjoyable to eat, has been of ‘Yuck by Puke’ quality.

Call me what you want. I have mental health issues so I don’t feel like it’s right for me to be on a restrictive diet. I hope people that don’t have mental health issues like myself and can handle being on a diet better goes towards veganism. Your comment is shortsighted.

Why? I want people’s diets to be as diverse as possible with people with all dietary preferences minding their own plates. Fulfilling their own needs and wants.

Eat what you feel right, doesn’t give you anxiety. Wishing world to go vegan seems downright controlling.

I have no plans to give up meat. I might actually increase the meat in my diet.

Going vegan doesn’t save the planet, and humans evolved to eat meat. Our teeth, jaws, digestive tracts, and stomach all show we are not just plant eaters. Ruminants digest their food over and over; we don’t do that. Without meat providing huge amounts of energy to our ancestors, civilization would have never formed like it has today.

Another post that will get locked… lol No lively debate seems to be allowed for long.

I have unknowingly become vegetarian again after taking up the huel diet. If only I could find a decent milk alternative that doesn’t cost 3 times as much as milk and doesn’t turn my stomach. Also, I rely on milk to settle my stomach when I have acid reflux. I have tried most of the alternatives and they make me gag or don’t settle my stomach.

Alas, without milk I’d be vegan for the first time in my life.

All this talk is making me want bacon.

Because I wrote that I hope the world goes towards veganism that seems controlling? I didn’t say that I’m trying to influence people to go vegan (I couldn’t do that cause I eat meat myself, it would be weird, I didn’t even try to influence people when I was vegan, I just minded my own business). I’m not sure if you’re trolling or not. Just don’t reply to me anymore, thanks.

Sure, we probably evolved to eat everything that we could find. I think we can probably thrive on a lot of different foods, including plants, animals, everything.

Let’s face it in certain circles it’s “hip” being a vegan.
I tried going vegetarian a while ago and you know how long it lasted? One day.

I really can’t live without meat.

I tried going vegetarian for well over a year. My health got worse. It improved when I started including meat again.

You do what you need to / want to.

I’m vegetarian but it’s easier for me as my family are vegetarians and raised me as one. Had they not been , I probably wouldn’t have been. I won’t switch I can’t stand the smell and look of meat anymore.
