Next question, how do you treat schizophrenia?

My last topic was closed for what ever reason. But i want to know how do you treat schizophrenia? Everyone knows my situation, so i want to ask you guys as my peers, what do you do to treat it?

In your case, I’d have a conversation with your psychiatrist about Clozapine.

Meds, meds and more meds

I keep stress at a low level. I have my routines, so my days are almost the same. I eat my meds and have so for the past 10 years.

Finding the right meds are crucial to this illness.

Im taking vraylar and olanzapine now. Its helping me question my delusion but i still think i have a camera on me, only because people are talking about me.

I doubt people are talking about you! It’s another delusion. I have the same.

I can’t give you advice about that because rumors spread about me. So I have both the delusion that people are talking about me, and people are really talking about me. It sucks!

See a psychiatrist regularly, and a therapist too if you can. Take your medication as prescribed. Don’t isolate. It’s good to have a couple friends and family for support and socializing helps.

Eat right, exercise and get enough sleep. Cooperate with the people trying to help you, don’t fight them. Keep an open mind. Take suggestions from professionals about your treatment. Try to stay busy for at a least some of the day. Don’t smoke, drink or do drugs. Don’t hang around toxic people or the wrong people.

Yes it sucks but i dont know what to do to overcome the hallucinations. I take my medicine but i still hear voices, but luckily the vraylar is helping me question if i really have a camera or microphone in me.

I used to hear a lot of voices. They were shouting at me. Now I mostly hear whispers. It’s constant and meds haven’t helped.

But I know by logic that it’s just a delusion. So I mostly ignore them.

Keep taking your meds, give it time. It took a couple of months before my mind calmed down.

You seem to be preoccupied with your delusions. I can only say that you are wasting your time. There are no cameras, nobody is broadcasting you.

It’s just this illness! I’m sorry that you have it. It’s a sucky experience to have.

As someone said, don’t be discouraged taking clozapine if the doctors prescribe it to you.

As for now, try to live a normal life. Ignore your delusions the best you can.

How is your living situation? Do you have a family? Are your parents helping you?

Medicine medicine, and slowly learning to not give a damn about what the voices say.

Ok, I’m sorry that you are on your own. Hopefully the meds will do the trick.

Good luck with everything! I mean it!

Get 1 medicine at a low dose and stick to it don’t let them load you up with medications. Eat healthy work exercise. I’d suggest zyprexa and when brilaroxine it comes out . Never let them perscribe you to seroquel geodon respiradol or halidol.

Stop starting your threads off like this. Read the rules. Want to know why a thread was closed? PM the mod that closed it. That is literally in the rules you agree to use in order to use the site.

The problem is you know darn well why your threads get closed. You have been told repeatedly that delusions are to be posted in a recovery context OR that you’ve become repetitive which annoys members.

So stop saying “i don’t know why”. It’s annoying and untruthful.
