Tomorrow I have an appointment with my Dr. What are some important things I need to ask him about

Make a list of things you want to ask, or tell your doctor.
He will probably ask you a lot of things-just answer honestly. If you are going to be taking medications, ask about potential side effects. Write down everything he tells you.
good luck!

Depends on multitudes of factors.
have you seen this doctor before?
if no, he will probably be the one asking most of the questions.
if yes, bring up any symptoms you have been experiencing
or corncernsssssssssss.

Welcome! have you seen this doc before?

I agree with Bridgecomet. You don’t want to suddenly remember a bunch of things you wished you had talked about after the appointment. Remember to be assertive. If you don’t the Dr. might not give you whatever help you need. Also remember to be careful about what you say. If you say something like “I would like to kill that person” you might start a diagnosis you don’t want to get. Pdoc’s don’t like ultamatims. If you try to force the Dr.'s hand at something you might get a bad reaction.

They take threats like “I want to kill that person”, very seriously. In fact if you use those specific words I believe they are obligated to report that to the authorities.

Thank you all for your valuable input.
I saw the Dr. and it went very well… my most concern is weight gain and he reduced my seroquel -I don’t know the scientific name- from 200 to 50 in addition to invega 6mg and a local antidepressant. What do you think of this combination.

I’m a very peaceful person and never intend to kill anybody. I think that the relation with the dr should be open to discuss symptoms and concerns not emotional stress and spontaneous reactions. Thank you anyway, I took my list of inquiries and it went well.

Just wanted to say welcome to the forum @Qutaiba. Glad your Dr. appt went well. Jumping from 200 to 50 seems like a big adjustment to make all at once. Did your Dr. discuss with you about possible withdrawal symptoms?

Hi @BarbieBF no he did not but he is known to be the best one in field at my country.

Can you share with me what are some withdrawal symptoms I might encounter?
Thank you.

I have little experience with Seroquel as my son was only on small doses for short periods. My concern would be the same for decreasing any anti-psychotic without titrating down. I think this article explains my concern:

Please keep in mind though that this may not be a concern for you.

Thank you. I hope it will pass peacefully with the withdrawal phase. Anything that might happen I will get in immediate touch with Dr.

I quit Flupentixol too fast and got psychotic. Keep an eye open for early signs. Tell family or friends to keep an eye on you, just to be safe.

Thank you. I will keep a close eye on myself and asked my parents to monitor me as well. Appreciate your input.

Welcome. I have been on seroquell for years now. For me it is a wonder drug. Can be quite sedating at first. Also it might increase your appetite a bit (but in my experience it is more weight neutral than olanzapine and clozapine). I found it helped with my mood (I also take antidepressants but more for obsessionality than depression).

If you have any questions about my experience just ask.

Seroquel with drawl affected my sleep patterns a bit.
