My Mom and Dad had quite strict eating rules so I find, underneath the rigidity, I have an appetite that’s a little afraid to express itself.
What are their rules?
Here in the house, my father and his workers, most of them just eat once a day for five to six days a week. Before my psychosis I ate twice a day. I guess I would die if I just would be eating once a day like them do, I’m diabetic now.
I now eat around five to seven times a day. I just ate six times a day when I was around twenty years old, doing Bodybuilding for one year straight. After I quit Bodybuilding I just ate two or three times a day.
Started skateboarding with 25 again and just really ate two meals per day, one at the skatepark, one late in the evening. Now it’s just eating eating and eating.
If I would have more money, I would eat a lot more than now.
drink juice every hour or so. sounds like medicine. are you a big guy? and gaining weight? are you still lifting? if you have any money- contribute. go shopping. talk to your Dad. tell him your story.
I’m in a home now, my parents are deceased, but the rules are the same - no snacking. Which can drive a person crazy, I mean not even a cracker. We might have been forced to go hungry during WW2 which might be part of the problem. It’s difficult to know what is a true memory and what is just a nightmare.
That’s tough. Is it due to the need for cleanliness in the home?
No. The provider thinks it’s unfair to the housemate who is diabetic and can’t eat freely.
Wow. That sucks. Sorry @PinCushion
