I have, so my loved ones could eat. I have food now, but not what I would like have because of inflation.

Ive spend times as a glutton and times in hunger. I prefer the hunger because theres less weight gain and more recently Ive been practicing various fasting.

Went hungry some times as a teen when my parents were practicing their beer and booze drinking skills.

It sucked! Sometimes not even ramen in the house and no meal plan at school.

Sorry to hear that. I always had food to eat when I was a kid and teenager because of my grandparents.

I know. Both my mom and her boyfriend had drinking problems. I hated it when she was drunk because she really got nasty.

My dad was always a crabass the next morning. Mom just sat in the garage drinking or she was at the bar until late.

It is too bad that kids have to pay for the BS of their parents when they are young.

My fridge is rarely full. I shop what i eat and that last.

I stay fairly hungry all the time…don’t eat much because there isn’t usually a lot of food around except for breakfast and supper…usually later in the month, supper is a can of black eyed peas, or ravioli, or tuna sandwiches. not playing the poor card but it’s the truth.

I skip meals, it’s hard to feed a big family on what little we get. Now with food costs up, I have no clue what we’re going to do when the extra snap from covid goes away. We barely get by as it is.

I don’t eat much. I have a bowl of cereal around 7am, then I have dinner around 8pm, sometimes my dinner is just a sandwich other times I’ll eat an extra large pizza…

I never have lunch, or very very rarely.

Growing up my single mom was always able to put food into me and my brothers stomach.

Constantly hungry as a kid. Never knew if we were going to have food from one week to the next or a place to live one month to the next. My mom always had cigs and weed, though. Funny how that works. (@#$%ing hippies.)

It doesn’t matter how sick I get as an adult, I damn well make sure I can hold down a job so I don’t have to depend upon anyone but myself for a place to live and food in the larder.
