I find I'm not actually hungry 3 times a day

And I’ve just been force feeding myself… I feel gross for doing that and I don’t understand why… I usually get hungry about twice a day and plan to only eat when I’m hungry from now on… I ate at about 11am this morning and am still not hungry and it’s now 5:39pm and my mom got us all pizza… It is hard to resist pizza but I told myself I’ll eat it when I’m hungry… I’m also only going to eat until I’m satisfied no more gorging myself… Maybe I started eating so much and gorging myself because I have trauma and I’ve been homeless before… Maybe I’m dealing with stuff finally… I don’t really want sweets either unless it’s a coke zero with real cherries from sonic… But I’m stopping that too… I hope to lose weight and be happy with myself… I got the idea to do all of this from my therapist who lost 20 lbs by doing this… I figure my body will tell me what to do and keep me healthy as long as I listen to it

A lot of doctors including Dr. now the guy on the “my 600 lb life” show said that humans are actually made evolutionarily to eat once, maybe twice a day anyways. I dont know if you had an eating disorder or something before so im not trying to suggest you do anything but sharing an FYI. hope you can reach your goal, im trying to lose weight too. Having a bit of success luckily

@POET did he say once to twice a day? I knew the twice a day but I couldn’t remember the once a day… I eat to much idk anything else about if I have an eating disorder

I’ve been fasting and dieting for so long now that I don’t really get that hungry anymore? Or I should say that desire and hunger are two different things. So while I may have an appetite when I eat, I don’t really need to eat certain things anymore and I don’t feel compelled anymore

It’s been great to be in New Orleans. The food is amazing here but there’s also just tons and tons of alcohol and fat being sold and I just when I go to the supermarket even anywhere not just New Orleans. There are so many types of food that are just unhealthy that are filled with sugar that are necessary. It’s really difficult to find good food

Good luck trying to figure out your body and becoming healthier. I think it’s a great idea. Just remember that our ancestors dealt with all sorts of difficult pressures on their diets. The human body is resilient and sometimes I feel like Americans just pamper themselves with too much fat and sugar. It’s unnatural

hmm well i know he recommends to his patients eat 2-3 meals a day, but he’s also said not to force it. he said if youre not hungry you dont have to eat. And yea he also said that people are made to eat 1-2 times a day. LOL i love that show so much ive seen like every new episode… anyways just saying not trying to give advice, ofcourse you know what your doing. i mentioned the eating disorder because you said you had trauma. sorry didnt mean to assume. its none of my business.
