He’s over there chopping up tofu, onions, garlic, broccoli, bell peppers and in a minute chicken breast, for stir fry. He says he needs help with the chicken. He’s so cute. He’s got the tofu frying up in the pan already. I love it. I’m tickled that he learned to cook. I’m a dork.

Okay, we tackled the chicken and did a little lesson on proper raw chicken handling procedures and all that jazz and hand washing, yada yada.

I taught him to cook when he was younger but I taught him to cook food we can’t have anymore because of his stepdad’s heart attack, so we’re all learning new foods now.

That’s great. I tried to teach my daughter, but she would always quit shortly after we started. My younger stepdaughter doesn’t want to learn anything from anybody because she knows everything already. Rolling my eyes. She doesn’t not really know everything lol

You know my daughter knew everything already too, so I know what you mean. But the funny thing was is I guess she turned out to be a pretty good cook somehow even though she wouldn’t let me show her anything.

Trial and error I suppose. So far, my stepdaughter always messes things up because she won’t listen. She’ll learn eventually though
