This has been going on for 20 years. She never wanted to divorce him bc of her Christian faith prohibits divorce except in cases of adultery and abandonment(?). She’s now staying with a friend in her hometown and starting divorce proceedings. She’s cut off all contact with her husband. I feel sorry for the guy bc I think he’s obviously mental ill but he’s put my sister thru so much.

I’m glad to hear that. When I left my abusive, mentally ill ex boyfriend he had me convinced everyone would hate me. I know how hard it can be to gather up the courage.

@Pikasaur. Yeah. Sis said that he made her feel worthless. That nobody loved her. My cousin went thru the same thing with her ex. My goodness it must run in the family!!!
