Aside from the part where he won’t marry me yet, he’s extremely supportive and has been there for me no matter what even through my last hospital stay. It just bugs me why he wants to live together before getting engaged. It feels like the only thing that really annoys me…

Personally, I think you should live with someone before you decide to get engaged or married. But that’s me.

Its really frustrating because I can move in with him but because he’s outside London id lose my bus pass, lose my benefit (which is my giving me some independence), and jobs where he is are not easy to come by so I’d have to travel to London. Which would cost about £20 each way. If I worked part time that wouldn’t be feasible. He’s planning to move to London but he likes to take time with looking at properties because he wants things to be right. In short. Not financially easily doable.

Your partner seems patient and loving and I think that he’s a good person from what you said, so I would just trust him and try to adapt to what he’s thinking. Sounds like he is trying to figure out how to build a life with you.
