He’s obviously the sensible one as we need to be able to afford to move in together first… I’m assuming I will be past the age of 40 when I get married… ugh

If you want to get married now, I would get married now. You just have to worry about paying for the wedding. Even if you have to live in your same circumstances, it really doesn’t matter, if you’re sure you will be married.

He lives on his own but plans to move to London next year. I just can’t afford to move in with with … I lose my pass , my benefits /job and have to become totally reliant on him for money. I refuse. Plus he’s struggling with his job situation and may accept a lower paid job to get out of the current one.
The problem is I don’t live with him but I’d like to.
