I also found risperidone to be excellent med. It brought me into remission in 2007.
When I relapsed five years later I resumed it but stopped it again due to it being expensive and because I thought I’d be ok without it.
And then when I went to hospital shortly afterwards they chose to put me on amisulpride instead which also worked excellent
I was given that drug before alongside Olanzapine.
For some reason it didn’t agree with me.
The first time I took it I felt awful, so I stuck with the Olanzapine.
Mental Health back then was pretty much DIY.
I take risperdal and haldol
I take Risperdal Consta, Geodon, Celexa and Seroquel. These are truly miracle drugs for me. It took me 33 years to find them.
Before that, it was totally worthless drugs like perphenazine, Haldol, lithium, Depakote, stelazine, Abilify, Tegretol, Serzone and Zoloft.
I doing well on Abilify. I’m also an alcoholic, and @everhopeful had a study which shows Abilify helps alcoholics stop drinking. I know the craving went away after I started Abilify.

Today i went to my pdoc ask for raise my invega dosage.he said why and i say that i m not feeling good and i have illogical thoughts at my mind.its not obvious big things but when you add all mental idea bugs together it s getting annoying and affect my life quality deeply.i used to very good at combo seroquel and trevicta(without paranoia and delusion very stable) but i afraid it because seroquel invega combo may cause irregular heart rythme which is thats why my pdoc ask about ecg from me and all results was normal.he said ok and add 3mg invega to my 3 monthly trevicta.i got my first dosage (daily 3 mg)results are fantastic.very normal vision about myself i feel very stable which is makes me very happy.
