My colleague decides she doesn't want to talk with me

It’s like she’s gone cold :flushed:… Did not say much when I tried to make conversation. Oh well. I guess if that’s what she wants that what she gets but damn it hurt and it’s awkward… Why would someone suddenly go cold on you.

Is it possible it only seems to you she doesnt want to talk to you? Maybe she just had a bad mood. Maybe it has nothing to do with you.

I sometimes leave people alone and wait till they fet tired of resentment towards me. If you dont make a big deal about it and act relaxed and happy people will find you attractive in time.

I dunno. Ill just carry on trying as I can’t sit there not talking it will drive me crazy.

I think its best to leave her alone. She will come back when she is ready.

Lol it’s just I have to sit there 8 hours with her. I do say things like hi and oh I’m feeling so tired today but I got nothing from that. I’ll still say little things but not full on convo talks.

Don’t mean to worry you but usually when people go cold it’s because they heard bad gossip.

She barely talks to anyone but I thought I got through to her. Guess I was wrong

She probably has her personal reasons then, maybe lost a loved one, or a best friend.

I don’t like to make conversations at work right away with people I just met. It take a me a while to get to trust people before I open up to them at work, because I don’t want to accidentally say the wrong thing to the wrong person. Maybe your coworker just needs more time to get used to you?

she might be preoccupied with something else, maybe a loved one is not well or maybe she got some bad news :frowning: there is a million reasons and not just you x

I’m sorry @anon80629714 that this is happening to you. I’ve had whole establishments give me the cold shoulder before. For many years even. And I never could figure out what I did wrong. It was stigma that’s what it was.
