I made some coffee. I have not been able to ride my bicycle because the bicycle paths are frozen. So I am waiting for the spring to arrive when ice melts. I am considering to buy the large quantity of canned food in the next few days because food prices are rising. One vegetable was 1.6 euros a week ago and now it is 2.2 euros. I did not buy it. Coffee tastes good but I need to try to find lower coffee prices. They are saying that these are the war prices, once one person said that ‘gains are highest when there is blood in the streets’, basically near the conflict zones such as Ukraine. How did it all turn upside down? How are you doing today?
Good morning from Kansas coffee is warm I could ride my bike here even after the winter storm weather keeps changing day after day like the people we meet and every aspect of the way I hope your day goes well
I’m doing good. Slept in but still woke up early before 6am. Had breakfast and now I’m just having some instant coffee. About to go watch some TV for a while.
I went to my local grocery store (I have two stores near me) and bought some canned food. I also bought honey (500g) and the price was 4.15 euros, just before Christmas the price was 3.75 euros and so there has been a 40 cents increase which means that honey is now 10.5 % more expensive than it was a couple of months ago. Food inflation is high. One pack of cigarettes is close to 10 euros a pack, so 50 cents per one cigarette. Fortunately I do not smoke.
