Might ditch the weight lifting

Thanks @Mountain_Lion_Mean … Time will tell I guess… It’s still early to be drawing conclusions especially given there are other factors like the extreme heat, my diet being different etc…

What makes you look slim (or without gut) is more the fat% of your body. The more muscle you have the less fat you can appear without loosing that much fat.

For example, if you have 15 kg of fat at 90kg, thats like 15% body fat which looks pretty fit, but if you have 15kg of fat at 70 kg you have 21%body fat, which is mildly/moderate overweight.

You can estimate your body fat looking at pictures like: Male Body-fat Percentage Pictures — Compare Your Body Fat Level

Bottom line, is that losing fat is not an accurate perception without understanding what % of your body is from fat…

Fact, muscle tissue is heavier than fat tissue but burns much more calories even at rest.

I think the best is to have a balance, a bit of cardio and a bit of lifting, its slower to lose weight this way but you will be more muscular and better looking imo

Yea dude. I guess balance is the key. Cause even if I wanted to do 100% walking my feet are gonna hurt like crazy. I did it last time and lost 50 pounds but my feet got pretty busted up. Maybe I’ll do half cardio half weights…been doing mostly weights recently

I do pump (weight lifting class of one hour to a video)twice a week and dance about three times a week.

I have lost 0.7 kg in six weeks.

Not much but maybe my body has a different look and feel to it.

I know my mood has improved.

I did pump this morning.

It’s always a struggle getting myself to exercise but I did it​:partying_face::love_you_gesture:t4:.

Yea I don’t use an app or anything but I try to limit it to 1500 or max 2000

Also I try to eat out of a 2 cup Tupperware bowl so the portion size is controlled.

The Tupperware bowels is a really good idea in my opinion! I might have to take that from ya! Walking is always good

Yea idk how the heck I did it before but my feet hurt so bad already :joy: maybe I’ll look for some dietary solutions if I wanna boost it, but probably will continue doing some weight training.

You probably building muscle now. Muscle weighs more than fat :muscle:

I’m glad. You can do light weight with more reps as you build your strength. Don’t worry about the pounds or kg you can lift.
