I’ve been taking saphris for a few months now and I find it helpful to cut down on hallucinations but its a hard med to take. It is sublingual and is flavored with the most awful black cherry flavor. Sometimes the flavor won’t get out of my mouth for hours. Sometimes it makes my mouth numb or a slight stinging sensation. I wish it was just a regular pill. Does anybody take this and have similar problems?
It numbed my tongue to where I couldn’t taste after 2 or 3 doses. I could never sustain saphris. Its truly difficult to get used to that taste, I never could. Maybe a generic will come out which tastes milder. For now numbness, tingling and burning, and unimpressive efficacy.

Sup edu. …what are u upto. …
I took Saphris for a few years. I actually didn’t mind the taste. Plus I took it only at bedtime so I would sleep through what ever lasting flavor was in my mouth. I often sneezed after taking it. But like you, for me it got rid of the hallucinations, depression and dissociation.
