I started taking saphris last night. Its delivered by dissolving under the tongue, and oh my is it nasty. Its black cherry flavored, and it has this awful after taste.
I’ll deal with it if it helps to get rid of my paranoia, but holy moly its gross.
Has anyone else used saphris?

Yes I take saphris. It never gets any better taste wise. But I’ve come to rely heavily on it. It helps me a lot. Did you sleep well? It’s kinda nice how it makes you sleepy and quiets the mind, isn’t it?
It was very nice, I slept like a rock.
That’s awesome. Did you sleep all night? I don’t sleep all night usually. But I’ve had that problem for many years.
I woke up super early, but that’s not too terribly uncommon for me.
are you taking it in the morning too?
Pdoc told me to try taking half in the morning when I’m on my full dose, but if it makes me that sleepy I wont be able to.
I take rexulti also, which is a stimulating ap. It sort of counteracts the sedating properties of the saphris. Also if you push through the sedation it wears off in about an hour. But I believe my pdoc told me I could take the entire 20mgs at night if I needed to. I decided to keep the dose divided because the sedation actually helps my anxiety also, and trust me I need that in my life. lol
Yes, I have and I hated it. I gained 20 lbs in 2 weeks of being on it. Glad I lost most of it.
I used to take 10 mg. It knocked me right out but the flavors tasted bad. Never got around to sticking to it. Woke up tired most of the time.
Took it till it stopped working on me. I was above highest dose for a while and then it tittered off and then I was just psychotic too much of the time. It worked great…just till it stopped been a crap shoot for the past 2 years now.
Hows the saphris going?
I’ve been off it for over 6 months. Wasn’t the right fit for me.
